Burnet volleyball takes bi-district championship, plays area match Nov. 3

The Burnet High School volleyball team added another bi-district championship Nov. 1 by beating Waco Robinson 25-10, 27-25, 25-17 at Copperas Cove High School.
During the match, Camryn Courtney recorded assist No. 500. Senior Addie Grace Hernandez was named the match’s player of the game.
The Lady Dawgs (27-11, 10-0 District 24-4A champions) face old foe Taylor (18-15, 7-5 fourth in District 22-4A) at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 3, at Georgetown High School, 2211 N. Austin Ave.
Adults pay $5 and students pay $3. Tickets will be sold online only.
The Lady Ducks defeated Houston Washington 25-5, 25-9, 25-17 Nov. 1 in a bi-district championship.
